I was born
in my aunt‘s farmhouse on the Welsh borders, but grew up in Fleet,
Hampshire. I returned to Wales to study at Cardiff University where I
met my husband. We decided we wanted a foreign adventure so left
Cardiff and have spent the past 17 years living in France and North
Carolina, where I worked as an international relocation counsellor. An
opportunity arose to move to Düsseldorf and we decided we were up for
the challenge of a new language and culture. My son, Thomas stayed in
North Carolina where he is pursuing a career in Industrial Engineering
and settling down with his new wife, Rose. I am looking forward to
being Secretary of the BWC, learning more about Düsseldorf and making
the most of our time here.
