I was born in Nuneaton,
Warwickshire where I was working as a Civil Servant for the
Government. I then moved to Düsseldorf in January 1975 and started
working for an American company as a Team Assistant/Secretary. I took
"early retirement" on July 4th, 2006 ( my ‘Independence Day’ )
and have not looked back since.
I joined the British
Women's Club in January 2007 and have enjoyed all the outings,
luncheons, coffee mornings and other various events which were offered
throughout the year, and through doing so have met lots of lovely
people. The BWC is a great club and having thoroughly enjoyed my
first year as a member I now look forward to being on the committee as
Vice Chairman.
My hobbies include
reading, playing badminton and squash, going to the cinema, theatre
and art exhibitions
