Excursions are organised by our social events secretary.  In the past, these have included trips by coach to Christmas markets such as Aachen, Münster and Soest, to the asparagus fields in Walbeck, the beautiful Keukenhof gardens and tulip fields in Holland, wine tasting on the Mosel and Cologne cathedral, to name but a few.

Theatre trips are very popular amongst the members, none more so than the Shakespeare plays performed annually at the Globe theatre in Neuss.  There are several English speaking theatre companies who perform at venues in and around Düsseldorf and members have also enjoyed outings to local theatres which have staged plays in English.

Tennis is usually played at one of the three tennis clubs in Lohausen, Neusser Weg 90 either on indoor courts or outdoor, depending on the season.  Badminton is played at the Badminton Centre, Vogelsanger Weg in Mörsenbroich.

The club is divided into four different areas, Central (CENT), North (NOR), West (WES) and South East (SOEA).  Members are put into coffee areas according to where they live, but they may attend coffee mornings in any of the areas mentioned.
